Hello ladies and gentlemen, it's time for another round of "What's Under the Tarp?" where people guess what's under the tarp for big big cash prizes. It could be a boat, home appliance, or maybe even a dead body! Who knows?!
EDIT: Those who said 944 are technically correct, but what's really under that cover is disappointment.
My Spec944 has barely ran the last two years. I lost a rod bearing at Chuckwalla in 2012, which resulted in a full rebuild, which took me about 8 months to complete (damn kids taking up all my free time). First run of 2013 at Auto Club Speedway it turned three easy warm-up laps until a fuel issue ran it lean - melted pistons, block scored beyond repair (at least for Spec944), and blown head gasket. Another year to rebuild (trying to do so extra cheap after spending $2500 on the last rebuild) with a new short block, but something got cocked up with the oil cooler and the oil is now a disgusting milkshake of water and oil.
Hope to get this thing fixed and then sold soon. Anybody want it?

Something weird is going on with the front. I'd love to know what, or if my eyes are going odd.

I too need help distinguishing what's under this tarp... I went to park my car into the parking garage before snowpocalypse and I parked next to these two fine covered cars. I'm curious to what they are, for I did not attempt to remove the covers or get a closer look. I have no clue, but your guess is as good as mine! the one on the far left I believe to be a older model miata.

Can you zoom in on the wheel on the closest one? With the whitewalls and the shape, I'm guessing late 60s-70s boat-like coupe of some sort.

I'd make an educated guess as to it being a "boattail" Buick Riviera, in production between 1971 and 1973, though I'm no expert in 1970s American cars, or frankly, differentiating any certain decade of American cars besides anything newer than the 90s...
